My
name is
Mr. Joseph
and I love
teaching! I
was
influenced
to become a
teacher by
my parents,
who operated
a school in
my country,
which I
attended for
many years.
I enjoy
teaching the
Seventh
Grade
because I
feel I am
making a
difference
in my
student’s
lives. My
specialty is
Math and I
bring a
great deal
of
enthusiasm
and hands on
materials to
my students.
Last year I
challenged
my students
to construct
a town using
the
geometric
shapes
studied in
class. They
created
visually
appealing
structures
showcasing
their
understanding
of the
dynamics of
geometric
construction.
The students
were amazed
by the
success of
this project
and they
quickly
realized how
important
working
together can
be.
Our class
enjoyed
participating
in the Read
100
Challenge
last year.
We read a
variety of
books from
the Henry
Gilford
collection.
We also read
the New York
Times and
the Daily
News each
day.
My
commitment
to Corpus
Christi
School comes
from the
profound and
touching
experiences
I have had
in teaching
the Seventh
Grade for
the past
several
years. My
students are
encouraged
to use the
teachings of
our faith
for our own
good and the
good of the
community.
We ask God’s
help every
day and pray
for His
blessings. I
pledge to
give each
student more
than what is
asked of me.
