Registration Information 2009-2010

Registration for the 2009-2010 school year is currently taking place. To register, print out the registration form and bring it along with the items listed below to the Corpus Christi School office.

Summer hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 A.M. to 12 Noon.

If you are unable to visit us during the summer hours, please call the school office, (212) 662-9344, at any time and leave a message. We will return your call and make every effort to accommodate your schedule.

Registration for Corpus Christi School is on a "first come ...first served basis". When a grade is full, registration is closed for that particular grade.

Pre-Kindergarten: Corpus Christi School’s pre-kindergarten is a two year program that includes both three and four year old children. Children must be three years of age by December 31 to be eligible for the program. All children must be toilet trained. No exceptions will be made to this rule.

At this time, the pre-kindergarten class is closed. There are openings in grades kindergarten through seven.

Kindergarten: Children must be five years of age by December 31 to be eligible for kindergarten. All children in kindergarten must be toilet trained. No exceptions will be made to this rule.

First Grade: Children must be six years of age by December 31 to be eligible for first grade.

If you wish a tour of the school, please call the school office to make an appointment.

IMMUNIZATION Proof of complete immunization must be presented at registration. No child will be permitted to begin the school year without complete immunization.

FINANCIAL AID Financial aid is available to families on a very limited basis. If you are interested in applying for financial aid, you must fill out a Financial Aid Application which is available in the school office. Return the application to the school office with a copy of your 2008 income tax returns. No application will be accepted without an attached Income Tax Return or Proof of Public Assistance. Financial aid applications will be processed separately from acceptances during July.

ACCEPTANCE INTO CORPUS CHRISTI SCHOOL (for students entering for the first time in September 2009) Families will be notified by mail following the child’s screening or entrance exam. The Acceptance Letter must be returned with September’s tuition (non-refundable) by the deadline date indicated in the letter. Final acceptance into Corpus Christi School is also dependent on all fees being paid in full to Corpus Christi or to the child’s previous school.

• Child’s Social Security Number
• $100 Registration Fee for New Registration (non-refundable)
